Surrounded by immediate family and close friends, Brynn + Mike were married under the pines of northern Minnesota. Their backdrop was an amazing slate cliff covered in moss. If you haven’t ever been by the Oldenburg – it is one of the north shore’s hidden gems!
This small wedding was actually initially going to be a styled shoot. Many of the gorgeous photos you pin on Pinterest are actually styled shoots – photoshoots that are put on by a bunch of vendors. When Kellie Rae Studio and I started looking for models, we asked, “Would you consider eloping?” Brynn + Mike responded with a big “Yes!!”
As we dove into planning the photoshoot turned elopement, it became clear that they had family and friends that needed to be part of the big day. So, the photoshoot/elopement turned into a gorgeous small wedding. Our team of vendors was willing to go with it – so invitations were sent and caterers were contacted.
Their first dance was to an original song written by good friends of Glenn and Emily – the owners of the Oldenburg.
Wedding vendors often live in a dream world of controlled chaos. This slower paced afternoon was gorgeous, but more importantly, it was love-centered.
Minnesota Bride agreed that Brynn + Mike’s day was perfect and featured it in their Minnesota Weddings Book for 2019 – 15 of Minnesota’s most stunning real weddings!
